New Widgets in 2.5.1 not working

    I am trying to install new widgets under my 2.5.1 install.

    I tried putting them into ‘plugins’ but they do not show up under the /wp-admin/widgets/php page listing.

    I then created a folder called “widgets” inside of /plugins
    then put the widgets in there.

    Refresh the /wp-admin/widgets.php page and I still don’t see them.

    How do I get new widgets to show up under this page?
    /wp-admin/widgets.php

    Resolved:
    You need to activate them as plugins in your admin area -> plugins.
    This wasn`t mentioned in description of widgets in wordpress codex.
