Noob here.
I am trying to add widgets.
After carefully following directions -- downloading, unzipping, then uploading into the wp/wp-content/plugins folder -- when I go to the widgets management page, the added widgets do not appear.
Any suggestions?

Posted 2 years ago #Sorry for the false alarm. Solved the problem by learning the process for activating plugins. Argh!
