New Users Register but Stay Dormant (2 posts)

I'm getting new users registering for my blog for the past months but no one posts or comments. The blog gets virtually no comments anyway for the past years, the blog is just of my thoughts as I continuously read through the Bible. But the users have email addresses using random characters on gmail and hotmail accounts. The suspicious nature in me causes me to wonder if there is any way a user can register to a WordPress account and inject in anyway anything nefarious into the domain the blog in on. I have the blog on my own paid hosted domain. I suspect there isn't any way they could access anything on the domain but it is hard to underestimate the power of hackers these days, and don't see any advantage to someone registering to a blog and laying dormant.

    Comments are welcome. Thanks!

    Yes.

It's not WP, though, generally it's your plugins. I'd turn off registration and let anon users register.
