    Hi everyone,

I just started to play with WordPress and was trying to get RSS feed from http://www.engadget.com to display on my blog.

after a little research, I found out that I need to add a plug-in to make this work. but I need to use filezilla to upload the plug-in (which I do not have acccess to the server, yet. and have no idea how long it will take the admins to give me the account and pw...).

Is there anyother way to work around this? any other solution as to how to display RSS feed from other website on my blog?

    any suggestion is deeply appreciated.

    Alex

How did you upload WordPress to your site?

Hi there, yes you can put it into your sidebar, just go to widgets and look for rss, add the rss address and select how many headlines you want to show.
    hope it helps.
    mike.

    Thanks for the reply, guys.

Mikey, yes, I tried to add the link to the rss wedget, but it keeps telling me that URL does not contain the required RSS or ATOM data.
this is the link I grabed from Engadget.

RipRapRob, actually, I am using blog.hp.com. it's the HP internal blog platform and it uses WordPress. all interface/functions are similar.

thanks so much for replying guys, really appreciate it.
