New user registration activation link not working

I have a WP multisite installation http://linknick.com/ where I want to allow new users to create their own sites. New users can register but and the new site the activation link is sent to their email. The problem is the link DOES NOT work. I get a Page Not found error. Has anyone had and solved this problem? If so please tell me how you fixed it.
