   I'm considering moving fr. Typepad to WP. I maintain a mambo site for which hostdime.com is my webhost. It would probably be cheaper either to use HD as my WP webhost or else use a recommended WP webhost who can provide WP preinstalled & host my other site.

   I'm not too experienced at the world of webhosts since I've been spoiled by TP hosting for you.

   Any suggestions about what you think my best bet would be? Of the webhost partners, which one/s do you like? And how much time & trouble would it save for me to go this route (w. the host partner) rather than maintain both sites at hostdime?

   My recommendation would be to stick with hostdime and see if they work for you when using WordPress. Even if they don't offer an auto install for WordPress, WordPress is pretty easy to manually install. See: http://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress

   I am using smartagehost.com for last 1 yr and running lots of wordpress scripts and don't find any problem,
