    using:
    wp 2.8.6
    wp-member plug-in for membership registration

    Situation:
    Blog name: Master Technician
    URL: http://www.mastertechmag.com

New User receives Email from wordpress:
    From: "WordPress" <wordpress@mastertechmag.com>
Subject: [Master Technician] Your username and password.

    Email contents:
    Username: xxx
    Password: xxx
    like to - http://www.mastertechmag.com/wp/wp-login.php

    Problem:
http://www.mastertechmag.com/wp/wp-login.php logs into the user's profile. Granted, Users can get to website via this process.

However, this is not preferred.... does anyone know how to MANUALLY go into change the Email From address and the Email Contents (mainly the link)??

I've seen a plug-in for this, however doesn't seem to allow me to change the Email contents...therefore the plug-in is not sufficient.

    Suggestions are appreciated.

    Thank you in advance.

I'm having that issue as well!

    using:
    wp 2.9.1
    wp-affiliate plug-in

    Situation:
    Site name: DNA Art Online
    URL: http://dnaartonline.com

New User receives Email from wordpress:
    From: "WordPress" <contact@dnaartonline.com>

I have changed the email address settings area, but I would like to change the "From: WordPress" part as well.

    Thanks,

    Lisa
