New to WP, have integrattion question…..

Hello, I am new to WordPress and am trying to integrate it into an existing site at http://www.fbschedules.com (WP located in /blog folder). I have been following the tutorials from Moshu Blog and Jonathan Wold.

Right now I am stuck. WP is installed and running. I copied the Loop into the bottom of the main page. Eventually, the text under Latest News and down will be made into WP posts. The problem is that when you click on one of the post titles, all the text above it carries over to the post page. I want to leave that top paragraph on the main page, but not carry it over to the post pages.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
