   Hi to all.

   Ok, my situation is a little different I think. I'm using WP to create a website not a blog. On the homepage I created which would be index.html on a standard website I used permalink and changed it from mydomain.com/?p=7 to mydomain.com/whatever.

   Now going to mydomain.com the home page doesn't show up anymore.

   How in the world can I fix this?

   I reset the permalinks to normal and still it goes to what appears to be a 404 page. I have yet to find the file and location in the file that keeps pointing it to the wrong page.

   Anyone have any ideas?

   Your homepage would not be mydomain.com/whatever but mydomain.com/

   Did you change settings -> generalsettings -> wordpress address (url)? to mydomain.com/whatever?

   If so change it to mydomain.com

   You can set which page to make your homepage in settings -> reading
