I am going to ask my web guy to create my site over in WordPress for the goal of me being able to make my own edits in the future, e.g., text changes, adding pages, adding pics, nothing major. I'm going to install WP on my server (Bluehost) and want to play around with WP first before I do this because I want to make sure i can figure out how to make edits when necessary. I want to look for a theme that he can modify. My site is not for blogging whatsoever but for informational purposes only about our business so no posts only pages. I have a layout in mind with a header graphic, navigation menus at the top below the header graphic, two columns with sidebar on the left (very simple). The site will have to have two forms that ppl submit reservations and contact us info on that will have to be SSL, i would like a slideshow feature for pics, weather widget, translation widget, that is about as complicated as it will get. Is there such a theme that has pages only and no posts? Can someone give me suggestions for themes I can start to play around with? Thank you.
