    Hi world!

I'm new to wordpress and web development!
I downloaded and installed WordPress but I don't know yet how to master its capabilities!
So I would appreciate your help!
My question is very very basic!
I would like to make a main menu on the top with, say with the following itmes:
    Auto - Moto - Bato -...

Under these items, I would like to add pages for the the brands or modeles:
    For example under Auto:
    Brand1
    Brand2
    Brand3...
    ...
Then, under the brands, I would like to add subpages for the description and specifications of each brand or modele...
What I wish is: when I clik on Auto menu, I will access the different mbrands page and on this, I will be able to click on each brand to read the details.
I'm sure this is among the most basic question but as I'm newbie, I don't know how to do it!

    I would appreciate any help.

    Thank you
    Regards

Have a look at some of the plugins for Tabs?

Step one: create the content that you want to display, likely as Static Pages.

Step two: go to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Menus, and create your custom navigation menu to suit your needs.

Step three: apply that custom menu to the appropriate Theme Location provided by your current Theme.

Thank you very much for your answers.
For now, I'm using the default theme, to familiarize myself a little bit with WordPress.
@taexalia: which plugin do you recommend me?
@Chip Bennett: I try to follow your steps but the titles of pages that I add appears as menu at the top!
I, rather, would like the categories (auto, moto,..etc) to appear at the menu bar, not the page titles!
So, how to make the created categories appear in the topbar as menu items? And then pages and sub-pages to those categories?
Maybe I'm approaching it from a wrong side!

    Any idea?

    Thank you

That's because you didn't finish following the directions. :)

(Side question: what Theme are you using?)

I, rather, would like the categories (auto, moto,..etc) to appear at the menu bar, not the page titles!

Again, follow the steps posted. :) When you create your custom navigation menu, you can put categories into the menu, as well as static pages, if you so choose.
