• Hello,

I’m brand new to WordPress. I haven’t started anything yet, just bought a domain and installed wordpress on it.

I’m interested in buying a custom wordpress template (at template monster).

My question is if it’s too complicated for me to just buy a template and customize it to fit my site if I’ve never used wordpress? I learn quick, so I’m not worried, but I need to know that if I buy a template my money won’t be wasted because I can’t use it. If I buy it, and have template monster install it, would be it be simple enough to customize it?

    Thanks

  • I would use the twentyten theme at first. Mess with the css until you get that figured out. Put in some text widgets in your sideboard and play with them. Post some graphics and see how that works. You could get pretty familiar with the system in a couple of days.

Some templates are easy, some get very complicated.

No need to buy a template; there are many super themes at

    http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/

Many of them have easy to use options pages; easy to change

They are all free; keep on downloading; trying; etc…
