New to blogging, please review my site

    Hi all, I’ve been taking loads of screenshots and a couple of videos of a game that I play and I wanted to share them so I decided to have a go at creating a blog. Please let me know what you think and any suggestions would be much appreciated, thanks 🙂 My site is at http://www.michaleki.co.uk

    Oh and just to note, the latest post slider thing at the top of my site is a new addition and so there are some pictures missing, I am working at fixing this asap 🙂

    🙂 So I look at many gamer blogs and there are a few things that catch the eye.

    1. Your header image needs to be a bit brighter in order to really see what is going on.

    2. Each post, below the header should also include a header image in order to attract a click.

    3. In your About page, I’d include who you play in each game in case others want to connect with you.

    4. You have links to other game sites in your main menu. I’d change this and place those links in a side bar. You don’t want people to leave your site before they have had a chance to scroll down and look at what else you have to offer.

    5. Instead of the game links, I’d have links in the menu to your game categories for your posts so that people can find all the posts for a particular game in one click.

    other than that? Awesome!
