New Theme Over Existing

    I’m working on changing the theme for a website and have a question. I’ve only created a website in WordPress from the ground up, so to speak. This time, I’m needing to change the existing theme and don’t know what to do with the current existing pages, posts…all the content. If I go in and just switch themes what happens to all the content? Does the new theme install over the old, keeping the content the same? It doesn’t seem like it would, so before I do anything, I wanted to ask in this forum because you guys are brilliant with this stuff!

    Themes only control how content is presented.
    The old theme is made inactive, and the content is the same.
    If you regret your changes you can activate the old theme again.
