Instead of spending a long time, in coming up with a name for this theme, I named it 'One Column'.
As the name implies, it is a single column theme. It does not remove the sidebar contents, instead it places it at the bottom. This way, you get more attention to the content area.
This is also good for photo blogs.

Yeah, that is pretty nice :)
Thank you for the encouraging words. this theme was sitting idle for a long time, with no sidebar content at all.
just recently i put together some code, to show boxes for the sidebar content, just below the content area.
it is the same trick I used for showing the 3 boxes in the top of wpthemes.info's home page.
Thanks guys.
I updated the theme to include new features.
1. Archives Page Template
2. Contact Page Template
3. Show Recent Comments

really nice and clean. looking at the "something to test" post, there's a border around the emoticons. other than going into the css, any way to remove the border?
you can tell wordpress, to not put emoticons in place of :), ;) etc
it is in the wordpress control panel.
