    I am looking for a step by step HELP file instead of posting hundreds of question here. Anyone know of a step by step FAQ or help file?

    Like this has no explaination;

    >> Part One - Installation Instructions:

    >> Now go to design -> themes and activate the theme <<

    You would think there would be a detail as to what it means to "ACTIVATE" the theme.

    >> Part Two - Setting up the Main Navigation

    Before setting up the navigation, create an archives page in your admin panel (you should have two pages "about" & "archives") <<

    Why not add to the help file INFO or a link on how, when and what to "create an archives page"

    I willl pay big money for a help file, FAQ , etc that you can read and follow step by step.

    Ipstenu answered your question about adding new themes here:

    You might also want to use the WordPress Default Theme and get a feel for WordPress by writing a couple of posts, pages, categories and tags and see how that is represented in that theme.

    Archives are generated automatically by WordPress and are ususally category, tag, author, and date oriented.

    Some resources:

    Please read WordPress Backups so your work is always protected.

    The coming release of Version 2.7 will see some context sensitive Help options.
