I'm using a child theme of the sandbox. Supposedly 2.7 was suppose to include the function to make it possible to create new templates in the directory of the child theme.
But I'm still not seeing my new templates show in the list of pages when I try to write pages.
Switch to the default theme and back. Some people say this jogs the templates into showing up properly.

Didn't work.
This is 2.7 rc1. This function is suppose to be working. I looked upthe ticket (7086) and it's reads fixed.
