    I have spoken with Sunlight Labs and have been assured that they will continue to support the congress member API though the 2014 election (to January 2015). You should still be able to get an API key until then.

    I do plan on updating to the new API in the future but do not have a time frame yet.

    Update: We just released the 2.0 version of the plugin that uses the new Sunlight Foundation API 😀

    Update: And in version 2.1 we added the ability to restrict the search to only Senators or Representatives. And we added shortcodes so you can have different pages for different searches.
