Greetings, I was wondering if anyone could help me fix some issues my client is having when viewing their site in IE8 (internet explorer 8). I build on a mac and don't have access to this browser at the moment. The client tells me it looks all scrambled, I had another friend send me a screen shot and it looks like the css isn't loading and everything looks stacked vertically. The website is http://www.betterbeanco.com and I am using a child them from twenty eleven with the latest wordpress 3.3.1. I really hope someone can help and its not a huge issue. Thanks

Fixed the problem! in my header.php file this line
<!--<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width" />--!>
had been somehow changed and had an extra "!" at the end. so I just looked at the original header.php file until I found the difference and just removed the "<!-- & --!> from the ends and got it to render correctly. I don't know how that happened in the first place. Thank god for working with a child theme! I guess that's what i get for building a site in a week. Here is some other work I have done http://www.BrentSagnotti.com Thanks for being here anyways forums, I'm sure it wont be the last post!

ok, now I remember why I turned that off (or thought I did) was because of mobile device scaling. I just don't need this <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width" /> see here http://wordpress.org/support/topic/turning-off-mobile-support-for-twenty-eleven?replies=5
