Hi everyone. I just added a new widget namely Random Posts to my sidebar, which shows 5 random posts from my archive. The reason I use it is because I want something fresh on my sidebar, something that changes every time a visitor loads a page / post, something dynamic. It will also serve as a way to give links and page views to my older posts.
What do you think about it? My site is http://www.goblogger.net
Feedback is appreciated :D

TBH, I don't think a lot of people will notice. As far as sending surfers to older posts, you've already got popular posts for that. You might be better off just putting another ad over there :) If you want dynamic content, why not rotate through different ads on every refresh/reload?
Thanks for the feedback. I'll think about it :D

Hi Isaac! I think you need to make both the Popular Posts and Random Posts stand out a bit, because some readers might not noticed (I didn't notice it at first). Check out how I tried to make my Popular Posts section 'stand out' - http://www.glosonblog.com
Nice one Gloson. My popular and random post are principally the same, as links to older posts of mine. The popular posts don't change a lot day by day. So I add the random posts to make my sidebar a little bit more dynamic.
