The new wp profile page(s) are AWFUL. I mean EW.... bad interface design...
1) when in new profile, the DOWNLOAD nav button is highlighted
2) cannot readily see if/when any new reply to your topics
3) says I have to log in when I AM logged in (duh... how'd I get there from my PROFILE link if not?)
4) too many pages to view and too many clicks to see the info
5) says I am "not recently active" HUH? I post a lot... and in Ideas, etc too.

i don't mind all the new stuff. is nice enough, and i like the 'stream' approach that shows all my account activity (cvs commits, thread posts, etc)
what i'm missing is the listing you used to have of threads you'd posted to that showed when the most recent additions to the thread were. ie so you could see when threads you've been on had been updated. is this in here somewhere and I'm missing it?

It's highlighted in the older profile too. You can still access the old profile by following your own Member link within a thread.

Right now, I think we're dealing with two different and independent profiles.

http://wordpress.org/support/profile/nnnn (old)
So I guess you can be logged into one but not the other.

I disagree. I've now got my themes as well as my threads & personal details in my profile. That's going to be useful if you are a theme or plugin developer.

I'd guess that this will sort itself out very quickly. The new profile has only been active for a few hours and it seemed to go through without any problems (all credit to those responsible) - which is no mean feat in itself.
I just prefer the original, with the easy way to see if anyone has responded... I'm not a fan of multiple pages of stuff.
BTW, it says you replied if you edited your own post, too.
Um, isn't today FRIDAY? In my profile, my last post says it was done TOMORROW (Saturday)?

which you can still see in the old http://wordpress.org/support/profile/xxxxxx style profile for now. there'll be something like that in the new one soon it looks like.
Who had the sudden need to fix things that weren't broken???
