    Hi Tint team

Hopefully someone is reading these messages ! :-)

I have noticed that any updates to my FB page take some considerable time to appear in my Tint feed.

For example, on FB I can see a post from 15 mins ago, yet it does not appear yet on my Tint feed on my site. Going to Tint Admin page, the new post does not appear here either, and pressing the REFRESH POSTS does not help. Also, changing the theme to a different one does not pull in the new post either.

It would be very useful for all new social media posts to be reflected as soon as possible after they are made. On one of my sites in particular, I am using the Tint feed almost like a 'Breaking News' feature on my home page, so it important to see the news posts ASAP.

Is there a polling interval or something, that we can set ?

Thanks, and keep up the good work.

    Hey,

Tim here from Tint and happy to answer your questions.

In regards to the update time, it takes about max 1 hour for your posts to show up. We are always trying to make it quicker, so there will be no work needed from your side.

Picking a theme or refreshing the posts on the dashboard will not make a difference right now. We're figuring out a way for you to manually update posts right now, will that help? That way when you want things to be updated quicker, you can press a button that will update it then and there.

Let me know if you have any other questions or feedback I can help with.

    All the best,
    Tim

    Hi Tim

Thanks for your quick reply, and for clarifying how your plugin works behind the scenes.

1 hour doesn't sound too much of a problem then - I wasn't sure exactly how long it was taking, just that it wasn't instant. But yes, a REFRESH button would certainly be a useful option in some situations.

    Thanks
