New posts on Home page and in widgets

    I have ultimate post type installed on another site and I do not remember if it was a plugin feature or not but all the CPT are on the home page with other newest posts.
    So is there a way to add the CPT created with this plugin to the home page & in the newpost sidebar without editing code.
