   Having just upgraded to 2.9, my new post refuses to publish. I keep being returned to the previous post, with the title of my new post showing as a non-functioning link at the top of the page. The permalink showing for the new post is the same as the old one. Your early advice would be greatly appreciated.

   After you try to publish a new post can you click edit to see what the post status is? Is it draft, published or pending review?
