• Hey folks,

My new site is up at http://www.jaymus.com

I’m looking for feedback from bloggers on how well you think the hybrid aspect of the site works for you. Give it whirl and let me know.

    Thanks,
    Jay

  • sorry – but the linking in the left sidebar opening in the right panel while intercepted by media in the middle sidebar is throwing me off.

It pulls my eye to the left too much….I like the concept though.

I think it’s a beautiful layout. I really can’t find anything I don’t like about it. The most nitpickiest thing I can say is that I think the gray lines in the left column go too far in to the shadow of the middle column.

I have a similar hybrid on my site: simonsportfolio.com

    I think it’s really dope!

One thing I personally would switch is the 2 sidebars, putting the text links on the inside and graphics on the out.

    Great work though.

Great design and nice portfolio work as well!

I just wanted to know how you combined a blog and a portfolio? (each with their own categories) I also want to make a hybrid site, but I want to make additions to my portfolio just as a blog, with posts and categories.

The only way I see this working is when you have multiple blogs (2 WordPress installs) Is that right?

    Thanx in advance!

Jay, I think you hit the ball out of the park on this one – it’s great! I enjoyed the “This is Not a Coke” article on the first page (being a former Atlantan and Coca-Cola addict) especially.

Amazing, that is some website. It works great and besides a few matters of taste (the amount of flash is on the edge, the images in the middle like said above) there’s nothing I can say about it. Great visuals, great functionality. Only a little old WP…
