    This plugin creates a set of icons that allow you to quickly bookmark the current post/page at a number of social bookmarking sites. You can see it in action at MaxPower on the bottom of every page that is a post. The full writeup is available at Maxpower | wp-sociable.

    Features:
    * WordPress 2.0 compatible
    * Easy install
    * Images can be styled using CSS class="socialbkmark"
    * Automatically generates appropriate submit links for:
    o Del.ici.ous
    o Digg
    o Blinklist
    o Furl
    o Reddit
    o Fark
    o Yahoo My Web
    o Spurl
    o Simpy

    Give me some feedback / suggestions for improving etc. This is the first public release and is therefore beta.

    V 0.31 released. Now with improved URL formatting and newsvine support. It also slices and dices and can cut through a tin can, a running shoe, and a tomato.*

    I'm sorry to attach such a stupid question to your lovely announcement, but I'm social bookmarking retarded. I installed your plugin (I'm not sure how to active Technorati like you show on your maxpower site, but that's another issue). It works fine, but is there a way for me to set tags for individual posts so they're autofilled in the user's delicious (or whatever) screen?

    To activate Technocrati, you'd add

    'Technocrati' => Array(
    'favicon' => 'technocrati.png',
    'url' => 'http://www.technorati.com/cosmos/search.html?url=PERMALINK',
    ),

    to the array of allowed sites and then add:

    'images/technocrati.png',

    to the socialable_files array (after you've copied the image into the images folder). You'll then need to return to your admin page and restore defaults again to get the Technocratic checkbox to show up.

    I have another question relating to this plugin:
    I only want to show the blog links on certain categories. So I've done this so far:

    $allowed_cats = Array(4,5,9,10);

    global $wp_query;
    $post = $wp_query->post;
    $this_cat = $post->cat_ID; // bit I added
    if (in_array($this_cat, $allowed_cats)) { // bit I added
    $permalink = get_permalink($post->ID);

    but I get a Warning: in_array() [function.in-array]: Wrong datatype for second argument error message. What am I missing? :/

    You should add support for Rojo as well http://www.rojo.com

    I realised I was trying to reinvent the wheel. I was trying to exclude categories from which commenting was turned off so just used if (('open' == $post-> comment_status)... instead.

    Tyssen or anyone who can help,

    where do you insert

    if ('open' == $post-> comment_status)

    in sociable.php script to remove the links from the non-commentable posts?

    Thanks!
