   I found that most dash widget customization plugins either removed only some of the default wp widgets, or they had to be removed on each sub-blog of a multi-site install...

   So I made my own plugin,

   It removes ALL wordpress dashboard default widgets across all blogs in a network at once, no individual settings required.

   rather then explicitly unsettling the meta boxes why not loop thought them?
   oh i also set a white list as i like the 'Right Now' one.
