New Plugin! Login Configurator (1 post)

I have created a new plugin that helps you change how your login form works. You can use this plugin to change which page users will go to when they log in. By default, users go to the admin dashboard, but with this plugin you can make it go to your home page, or any page on your web site.

Other features include the ability to force everyone to log in before they can read your blog. There are four settings:

    • Off - no forced login, but other features work.
    • On - every page is behind the user login, including the home page.
    • Teaser - Let the user see your home page, but they have to log in to every other page on your site.
    • Post Only - Allows users to see the home page, other pages, categories, tags, but they must log in to see full text of posts

There are also options to add a note on the login form, and change both the logo displayed on your login forms as well as the link behind the login form logo.

You can check it out now at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/login-configurator/. Tested with Version 2.7 but should work back to 2.5. Also works with WordPress MU.
