This is probably the best theme I ever saw for WordPress. Too bad you don’t offer your talent for us to use 🙁 Congratulations.
Nice theme, and great photos. However, whenever I select a a new thumb, I get a white blank screen for a fraction of a second before the web page and photo is displayed. It is very annoying and distracting. I am using Firefox 1.5.
love it! fabulous theme/photography. site design colors are very complimentary and non-obstructive to the photographs.
also like the saturation effect/filter you use in your imagery – similar to a PS-compat filter called bad dream. very nice!

Y’know what I really want it to do, Terry? I really want it to load the real photo when you mouseover the b&w thumb….
JS popup aka the lightbox effect? (still trying to work that out on my own blog)
No…. just load the main photo without the click. Saratogateen JAlbum style.

fMustang – If there’s enough interest, I’ll be releasing a variation of this theme to the public.
romamor – I’m using 1.5 on both the Mac and PC and I’m not seeing the white screen you’re talking about. Could it be a slow connection? Does it happen everytime you visit the site?
dkaye315 – thanks for the compliment. I thought about the JS popup effect but I wanted each photo to have it’s own page and permalink.
vkaryl – that’d definately be a cool trick, and doesn’t seem hard to do, but again I’m trying to think how I would change the permalink of the page as the photos got moused over. I guess it’d still be possible both ways.

I use simple viewer to display a collection of photos with a flash controller.

Excellent theme kineda! Definately (IMHO) the best photoblog theme I’ve run into. Have a few questions.
Can you control the size of the main image?
Do you have the option to remove the “about” text at the bottom right?
Can you make the “recent photography” thumbs into one row that spans the currently viewed photo?

Kineda – Regarding the white blank screen, I am on a high-speed 100Mbps connection. The blank screen appears whenever I click on a thumb and before the corresponding main photo is displayed. This is on a Win XP Pro PC, if that matters. Other photo sites do not have this behavior.

My e-mail box has been stuffed with requests for my original photoblog theme (what you see now on my photography site is a different theme).
I will still be releasing the intial theme requested as can still be seen here:

great theme! truly complements the photos. it does take a while to load the photos and am on broadband.
