• Ever since I loaded the newest version of WordPress any new posts don’t load. I can update the menu to link a page to it but it won’t come up.

What do you mean when you say “new posts don’t load”? Where won’t they load? What happens instead? What error message do you see?

Can you post the url where this is happening?

An example is http://caledonspectrum.com/are-you-on-the-voters-list. I’ve tried it in different ways and no new pages load. Anything pre-existing on the site (which I regularly update) works fine. But after I installed the latest version of WordPress I can’t get any new pages to load. I had it attached to a menu item but then people would click on it and not get anywhere.

The server is returning a 503 HTTP status code (after hanging for a good while).

Which version of WordPress did you upgrade from?

Which plugins do you have active on the site?

Can you access the editing screen in the admin area for said post?

I’m new to WorPress (3.9) (and iPage). I have an active theme but my actual web site says “under construction”. Could be similar problem?

I believe I was at the latest version on WordPress prior to the install. yes,I can access the editing screen for the page in question. I also did try to enter it as a post and same thing happened.

    Active pluggins are:
    Akismet
    Fast Secure Contact Form
    Jetpack by WordPress.com
    Meta
    Robots Meta
    Social Media Widget
    STC – Follow Button Widget
    Visitor Maps and Who’s Online
    WP Calameo
    yolink Search for WordPress

Like I said I update the site almost daily with no issues. This conflict resulted immediately after I upgraded the WordPress version. All of the pluggins are up to date, as well.

    Hello ElectYevgenia,

does the issue still remain if all plugins are disabled and you use one of the default themes?

Have you access to PHP error logs?

It appears that when I deactivated the yolink Search for WordPress the problem went away. Thanks for the response.
