i had a few blank extra pages before I moved my site. Took awhile but I resolved all the issues and everything appeared to work just fine. Today I tried to add a password protected page and just got an 'internal 500'. I figured something was not set up right so I poked around for awhile with no success. Then I noticed that none of my extra pages are actually work. I was sure they did after the move.
I just don't know where to get started troubleshooting this.

Try resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting. If that works, then try setting a custom permalink structure back up again.

They're not. You're using one of the preset permalinks - year/month/day/post-title. Sometimes, the .htaccess/rerwite system breaks down and needs to be reset. Switching to the default (ugly) permalinks, saving the settings and then switching back to the previous preset (pretty) permalinks and saving again can often "re-start" the system again.
