How do I have a Page without a parent? I want to create a page, and not have it show up on the home page nor the navigation bar nor be a child of one of the navigation bar parents, but I don't know how.
I was just going to have 1 of my web pages link to this page later.

What are you using to list Pages in the navigation bar?

I am not using anything to list pages in the navigation bar. It is just done by default, I believe.
OK - so what is the theme using by default to list the Pages in the navigation bar?

It is called Twenty Ten.

Hover over "A Parent Page", and you can see what it does (which is what I don't want it to do).
Don't edit the Twenty Ten theme. Instead create a child theme for your changes. Once your child theme is active, we should be able to help with the customisation.
