new page is redirecting to parent page, why?

I just created a page called “Other community Events”

http://www.world-affairs.org/calendar/other-community-events/

But, for some reason, it is automatically redirecting to its parent page “Events”

http://www.world-affairs.org/calendar/

Why is this happening and how do I fix it?
