   I'm new to WordPress. I've just loaded WordPress into a website server under the directory .../Blog/wordpress/. How do I add the blog to the file .../Blog/Blog.htm? Can you direct me to any specific instructions on WordPress.org or another site to enable the blog to be seen and used?

   Not quite sure I understand exactly what your need is, but...

   WordPress does not rely on the .htm or .html extension for page viewing. The server must be running PHP, and the proper .php extension configuration is required for the web server to recognize the file extension used by WordPress.

   Clayton,

   Thank-you for your help. The PHP is okay and the database was successfully set up. The installation worked on the first attempt. My question is how to make the blog appear and be accessed on a part of a page within the website.
