    I recently tried moving over to wordpress from blogger with my custom domain I had there. My domain and now hosting package is both with GoDaddy. I installed wordpress on the godaddy hosting and received an email saying installation complete however I keep getting a server error and cannot access the wp-admin login section.
    Can someone please assist! Thanks :)

    I have xammp up and running in windows 7. Apache is running on ports 80,443 mysql is on port 3306.
    both have the green checkmarks. they both are started and running. At this point I am trying to install wordpress.
    I created a database in mysql called "WordPress". I then extracted wordpress app to htdocs in xampp file on c drive.
    I then reconfigured sample wp-config.php in notepad with database name "wordpress" db_user with root password I left blank
    for host I put localhost and left collate as is and then saved as all files in wordpress folder.

    now when I go to http://localhost/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php I get the message "objet notfound.
    Help!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

    @cabazar: It is impolite to interrupt another poster's ongoing thread with a question of your own. Your problem is completely different. Please post your own topic.

    I'm assuming you are either the same account holder as the OP - @ericateal - or your post is the product of an ripple of epic proportions in the great cosmic pond. :-)

    Either way, here is your next course of action: The message on 3dprinterscost.com reads as follows;

    "Welcome! This domain was recently registered at namecheap.com. The domain owner may currently be creating a great site for this domain. Please check back later!"

    Please contact your host for their FAQ and -or- the user documentation for assistance on how to make your new domain publicly accessible. Good luck to you!
