   I am new to WP, and have installed WP on my hostgator account via fantastico that come with hostgator.

   When I go to the web page, all I get is a list of files and directories, and no login page. see link: http://bluesteel.harkul.com/

   Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong?

   index.php isn't set in the default documents for the web sever.

   would that be the root directory?

   Did you understand the answer? It is a webserver problem. Talk to your host and tell them exactly as it follows: "make index.php a valid index file on the server".

   I am new to the hosting account too - I did not understand the answer - but I understand this answer alot better - I will do this.
