    Error 324 seems to be specific to Chrome. What exactly happens when you use Firefox?

    The connection was reset
    The connection to the server was reset while the page loads.
    The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try more
    later;
    If you are unable to load any pages, check the connection
    to network your computer;
    If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy,
    make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

    Have you spoken to your hosts about this?

    Then I'm sorry but there is nothing else I can suggest. It sounds like a server issue to me. I'm running about 5 WordPress installs on my own local server without the slightest problem.

    What is strange is the fact we can navigate normaly in the default WP site, but any links to the WP-admin folder give an error...
    if there is no Apache mod_rewrite module installed, can it give this issue ?

    Not unless you are using a custom permalink structure, no. And even then it wouldn't affect the back end of the site - only the front end.
