   I'm trying to install wordpress on xp with iis 5.1, when i run /wp-admin/install.php file download keeps on apearing. What seems to be the problem?

   Do you have PHP installed and if so what version?

   It seems that you have either not installed PHP or not configured IIS to handle .php files.

   Try this link: http://php.iis.net/

   I think php is installed because i run the hello.php and phpinfo.php its working fine but when i run /wp-admin/install.php same thing file download appears, is there something i miss by the way php 5.1.6 installed and wordpress 2.7 trying to install, solution to this problem will be a big help...thanks

   hey rhadriano, did you ever get this sorted? same problem - blank install.php file keeps downloading.
