Here's a new site I did about Kentucky horse farms. I'm using WordPress for a mostly non-blog site. Using plugins: YAK (Yet Another Kart), Lightbox Gallery, My Page Order, Page Link Manager, SimplePie Plugin for WordPress, and WP-Contact Form. The theme is based on Brian Gardner's Whitespace.

nice, clean, colours work well together.
the only thing i don't like, and this is a preference rather than a problem, in looking at the footer the main blog overlaps the red/brown footer colour, but the header lines up exactly on it, i think, and again just my preference, it would look better if it also overlapped into the header

not sure if my description is clear...

makes the page look more balanced IMHO, like i said not a criticism, just an observation

@jrodgers: I agree. I have seen other themes with this effect and I really like it. I will give it a shot and see how it looks. Thanks for taking the time to offer your feedback.

It does look nice and clean, but I have one small criticism about the footer as well. In viewing it with Safari it places a gap between the footer and the content. Without really examining your stylesheet, I'd guess it's something to do with the padding.

Safari is what I use primarily so I just happened to notice it. I'd bet Safari users are a very small percentage of your visitors, so maybe this isn't an issue to you. I pulled it up in Opera and Firefox and it looks fine.

Other than that my only other suggest might be to play with adding some textures to the backgrounds just to see what it might look like.

I really love the Lightbox plugin and hope to utilize something like that on my site soon.

@u6crash: Thanks. I took a look and it's broken on both Windows and Mac Safari. I can't wait for the day all rendering engines are standards compliant. I have a feeling that my code is a little sloppy and Safari is the only one that caught this. It could be a css bug in Safari ... but I doubt it.
