Like many content plugins, there is a new main menu item. It is called Historic Events, just click that and you can enter events and event types.

You can also add new Historic Events directly from the adminbar under +New.

    I hope this helps.

Yes, thank you. Can I add a URL so that the event name is a clickable link leading to a previously created Today in History post for that date on our site?

Yes, you can include html in the title e.g.

    <a href="/page-slug">Our Page about Slugs</a>

to link to a post or page on your site. Or you can add the full URL inside the quotes to go elsewhere.

Thank you so much, this is working out great!

Someone has asked if they can embed our Today in History widget on their website. Is that possible on any site? Please advise. Thanks!

It is not possible to do this AFASIK and that’s just the same for posts or other content. The data is in your WordPress databases and to show it on another website you require them to have access to your data. This isn’t a normal function for a plugin like this one.

This also is a new question so you should start a new thread.

    Sorry and thanks.
