   I sure hope someone has an answer for this.

   I love my wavatar defaults, but I can't seem to get the site to let loose of them once a user who has already posted on the site and gotten a wavatar associated with their email then goes up and gets a Gravatar.

   Actually, the problem isn't simply the wavatar, it's any anonymous default image. For some reason, if they've posted a comment on the site without a gravatar, they're stuck with being anonymous.

   Are you sure this isn't a caching problem? Try doing a hard page refresh (CTRL and F5) or clearing your browser cache.

   Thanks for responding. This isn't a problem with my computer (but I have just recently cleared my cache...certainly since we first had this problem.)

   And it's all the visitors to my page who are seeing the same thing. Those who commented before having gravatars seem to be stuck with the wavatars.
