  • Clean layout, easy to read, I like the line spacing and fonts.

    Too much on the home page, most people won’t scroll down. Start simplifying by tossing out most of the black-background footer, make it one line of text at most; Reducing the footer to the existing last line (copyright) would be perfect. Eg. if someone wants to contact the firm they’ll click “Contact” instead of scrolling. If they want to navigate the site you already provided several ways of getting around.

    On “News” it feels like the images are too big; they seem to crowd and overpower the text. However, using monochrome imagery is a nice touch, they are an excellent complement to the rest of the theme.

    Do you really need the tag cloud on News? It’s full of depressing phrases.

    Love the sitemap, wish more websites did that.

    I like it, but a man in cuffs make me think of a prosecutor, not a defense lawyer – perhaps being UNCUFFED would be better…
