    Hi;
    It would be great if the admin could add new fields to the postings. This would be great for me because I could add an "image" field where I enter an image url. It could be included in the post template and I could use it however I want.
    I would use it like so:
    if ($theimage !== "")
    {
    print "<img src=\"$theimage\" hspace=\"5\" vspace=\"5\">";
    }

    Im sure others would like to have this option to add fields like: "What Im eating"... :)

    Lots of posts about this.
    No replies.
    Starting to think WordPress blows.
    At the very least, just say it is a BLOGGING solution and stop calling it a CMS.
    It clearly is not, and lacks the fundamental requirement of any CMS.
    EXTENSIBILITY!!!

    You could add your own custom meta. It's visible in advanced view in posting section of admin panel. I also found the foolowing plugin so useful to display the custom meta.
