    This is a great plugin! Thumbs Up!

    A great feature would be an extra shortcode that could display a small image (on-air.png) when streaming live and another (off-air.png) image when there is no live stream. Then paste the shortcode at the top of the page or in the header.

    I would be willing to pay for such a plugin. Maybe make a Pro version of IX.

    Displaying an image is a great idea! I haven’t tried inserting HTML into the text field. Maybe it would work already.

    But a “live” image in place of the embed doesn’t really make as much sense. This would require extra clicks from the user, and it also misses out on things like live countdowns, or automatic playback when it’s expected (like going to a /live page).

    We’ll consider this.

    I’m reading this again, and I think I misunderstood your original request.

    You essentially want a “Now Live” shortcode you can place anywhere. It’s sole purpose would be to indicate whether you’re live. Perhaps this could also always link to your chosen live page, or only link when you’re live.

    Do I understand it correctly now?
