    did you have a plugin that uses sessions ?

    No. I have turned off PHP Error notice for now. I’m having other issues as well in WP v3.2.1 on this server. My other site is working great with v2.0.3 (different hosting service).

    Still completes the backup as requested. I have notified our host to see if they have any logs or issues.

    you can test the development version,there the old session will saved and restored.
