I am running Debian Lenny and have aptitude'd wordpress to my server. This server is running a full LAMP but I seem to be having problems with this installation.

To access this server url I have to run off of 8080 my dyndns url, routers and such are set up to forward and to my knowledge apache is also.

Debian installs wordpress in /usr/share/wordpress.. I have chmod -R to www-data www-data and linked this to /var/www. I have done the config file. However, when I run localhost/blog/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php I get a 403 permission denied. I'm at a loss and IRC could not help me so here I am now. Any ideas? Anyone installed this successfully on Debian servers. This is my foray in my own server and such. I really didn't have this much of a problem setting stuff up when I first came to Linux 6 yrs ago.
