New cookie laws – Option to opt-out

Hi guys,
Just been reading about these new Cookie laws that are coming into effect soon where most commercial/business websites have to offer every user the option to opt-out of storing cookies in their browser.

I imagine this is going to cause a lot of issues for a lot of people as it can effect many things on a website.

Anyway, the reason for this post is I’m wondering if anybody knows about any plugins that offer this functionality? I can’t seem to find any myself.

Also, can anyone think of a workaround, maybe another way to store the data that cookies would normally take care of?
