There are numerous posts which state the same issue without any resolution. I have checked all my settings and even installed WP-Mail-SMTP plugin to test. I was able to send a successful email through this plugin. I am assuming the comments are not calling this email plugin. Worst case can I change a setting to use this plugin to send this email? Please, any help would be appreciated.
