    I do not know html, here is my blog:
    http://joinbillmcmahonblog.com

    I wish to have a very critical review of my BLOG, and I am VERY new to WordPress, PHP, CSS, and HTML. Please give me advice on how to repair – and I need clear non-technical words, if possible.

    Please review:
     Overall Presentation
     Use of Colors and Graphics
     Site Navigation
     Use of WordPress Features, Tools, and Plugins
     Code Validation

    I do want to be found by the search engines and I have NO idea how to do this. I read that a WordPress blog is easy to be found, but I may need to do some things. If so, be as clear as if you were explaining to an old man.

    I appreciate everything. Thank you!
    Bill

    Overall not bad but you may want to spice it up a little. I'm using the same template and I suggest with all due respect that you try to give a little variation. You seem to be using too many of the defaults thus denying your page a uniqueness. Try to use a few different colors and turn off the Atahualpa logo (The three red, green and orange blocks next to the blog name.). That would be a start.

    I guess I should also mention that your slide.com bars overlap your text. You may want to correct that.

    Granted my page is far from perfect but if you want to see some of the modifications I made I'm here at http://dudewtf.org my humor based blog.

    I do like the photo layout and plenty of text to read. Good luck with it.

    Nick, thanks for the suggestions. I will review the SEO for sure.
    OK, I'm not sure if I remember where to remove the logo, can you direct me?

    The slide show, I am having trouble with finding how to reduce the links at the botom, without reducing the size of the photos.

    As to colors. I WANT them, but I have no idea where to find them.

    I am sorry I'm such a dope with this SO FAR. But I do learn fairly well. I would appreciate some pointing so that I can apply your suggestions.

    Once again, thank you very much!

    For HTML color code either just google the term or try this page for example http://www.webmonkey.com/reference/Color_Charts

    To turn off the default logo got to settings (Atahualpa), click on Header, go to show logo image and clear it. Done and good luck!

    It doesn't look too bad to me. If it were me, I would change the 'joinbillmcmahonblog.com' in the title to the words spelled out, and you might reconsider the slide shows. In Firefox, the menu bars below the pictures overlap the text in your articles.

    I like the site. I am a simple person and don't like the cluttered sites with dozens of links everywhere. I really like the way you used the left sidebar to present your picture and story.

    You might consider placing a category module in the right column so visitors can choose types of articles to read. You look like you have a lot to offer on your site.

    Good luck
    Buck

    OK. grrrr

    I went to Atahualpa Theme Options, Header

    I just want the words: Join Bill McMahon in the center of the header in a dark blue, like #66CCFF with a lighter background in the header of, say #CCFFFF. Now, I can play with the colors if I can figure out how to accomplish it. Is there any reason to link the title to the blog home page? If so, I would need to do this.

    I have attempted to Show Blog Title? No
    Enter this into the blog title area:
    <head>
    <meta
    content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1"
    http-equiv="content-type">
    <title></title>
    </head>
    <body>
    <div style="text-align: center;"><big><big><big><big>Join
    Bill McMahon</big></big></big></big></div>
    </body>

    Blog Title: Font Weight bold
    Blog Title Color 66CCFF

    Show Blog Tagline? No

    But my title is BLANK!
    Please help!

    Also, I can NOT figure where to put an HTML color code into a certain area of my blog, let's say in the background of my header.

    Please help.

    Content is interesting.
    May be you should adjust a bit on the fonts color and style and arrange the navigation to your articles.
    And your left side bar with slide widgets appear not fit on my firefox. My laptop screen is 1280px.
    My sites use same theme as yours. And I still learn more and more.

    You should go to BFA forums, they can answer almost all of your questions there. (go to your themes in admin page, you will find the link there)
