I use the ComicPress Theme, and this also doesn’t post to e-mail subscribers. The creator needs to add support for custom post types. Is that in the works/has it already happened? And if it has, how does he implement it?

I had a look at our email logs for a few of your subscribers, and it appears they all received an email about your latest post, on December 19 between 22:09 and 22:10 UTC.
If you still experience issues, could you send us an email and give me a few examples of email addresses that did not receive any notification email, so I can take a closer look?

It’s in the works, yes. Keep an eye on our blog , we’ll post there once we add this feature to Jetpack.
